What we do
Watch prices in the UK move more than most people expect. Brands raise their list prices, sometimes more than once a year; shops cut prices quietly; limited releases sell out in an afternoon. We keep track of all of it in one place, so you know whether a price is a good one before you buy.
- The price index: official UK list-price changes, each with its date and source.
- Price drops: watches selling below their usual price at UK shops.
- The drops calendar: limited releases, where they go on sale and for how much.
- Swiss watch exports to the UK: the monthly figures, a leading sign for stock and prices.
- Buying guides: the watches worth buying at each price, by type and by brand.
Who writes it
The Watch Sorted desk. We compare the makers' published specs, UK prices and price history. We don't have every watch in hand, and a page never suggests we do: where we have worn a watch, the page says so.
How we're paid
Some links earn us a commission when you buy, at no extra cost to you. It never decides what we pick or the order we list it in. How affiliate links work here.
