Before you buy
Every G-Shock is shock resistant and rated to 200 m, so the choice is shape, size and power: plain models run on a battery that lasts years, Tough Solar ones charge from light, and some add radio or Bluetooth time setting so they never need setting. The square 5600 shape is the original and the smallest; the octagonal 2100 is slim for a G-Shock. Codes ending JF or JR are Japanese imports, not UK stock.
How we choose

We pick from what UK shops actually sell, compare the makers' published specs (movement, size, water resistance, glass) and check UK prices and price history through the day. We don't have every watch in hand: a pick is marked hands-on only when we have worn it. Commissions never change a pick or its place on the list. Read our full methodology →
