The best Omega watches to buy in the UK
The Omega most people should look at first is the Seamaster Aqua Terra, from £5,700 in the 38mm and 41mm sizes, or the Speedmaster 38 at £5,300 if you want a chronograph. The Seamaster Diver 300M and Planet Ocean are the dive watches, and the Moonwatch is the famous one.

Who Omega suits
Omega is the Swatch Group's biggest luxury brand, and its watches are generally available at UK authorised dealers. It suits someone who wants a well-known Swiss watch with a long warranty and a modern Co-Axial movement, and who doesn't want to wait for a Rolex.
Which Omega to choose
Seamaster Aqua Terra: the everyday watch, at home in an office, 38mm (£5,900, blue dial) or 41mm (£5,700, silver dial) here. Speedmaster 38: the smaller, cheaper Speedmaster chronograph at £5,300. Seamaster Diver 300M: the dive watch with the wave dial, £8,100 for the 42mm blue. Planet Ocean: the heavier-duty diver, 39.5mm at £6,700 or 45.5mm at £8,600.
The Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional, the one associated with the Moon landings, wasn't in our Goldsmiths read, so it carries a search link here rather than a price.
What to know before buying
- Omega's current Co-Axial watches come with a long brand warranty when bought from an authorised dealer; ask the dealer for the exact term.
- Sizes vary a lot across the range, from 38mm to 45.5mm here: try before you buy.
- Omega's list prices change; check the dealer's page for today's.
- Grey-market Omegas can be cheaper, but the warranty may not start from your purchase.
Servicing
A mechanical watch wants a full service every several years: it is taken apart, cleaned, re-oiled, regulated and pressure-tested. Use the brand's own service centre or a dealer that sends it there, ask for the current price list before you commit, and keep the paperwork with the watch: a service history helps if you ever sell it.
Chronographs such as the Speedmaster usually cost more to service than three-hand watches such as the Aqua Terra.
Questions
What is the cheapest Omega in the UK?
Of the models we read, the Seamaster Aqua Terra 28mm quartz at £3,100, then the Speedmaster 38 at £5,300 (Goldsmiths, 6 Nov 2026).
Aqua Terra or Diver 300M?
The Aqua Terra is the everyday watch, slimmer and plainer; the Diver 300M has a rotating bezel and a sportier look. For one watch to wear every day, most people are happier with the Aqua Terra.
Is there a waiting list for Omega?
Generally no. Most Omegas can be bought or ordered through an authorised dealer.
Why doesn't Amazon UK sell new Omegas?
Omega sells new watches through its own boutiques and authorised dealers such as Goldsmiths, Mappin & Webb and Beaverbrooks.
