Best Burberry watches in the UK (2026)
Our top Burberry watch is the City BU9037: a clean steel watch with a check-pattern dial that is the most recognisable Burberry design. The runner-up is the City BU9146, another City model on a leather strap that's a little dressier. This page is for anyone who wants a Burberry watch while stock lasts, as Burberry no longer makes watches. We compared the City, Classic and other remaining models on size, condition of supply, materials and design, and we're clear about what buying a discontinued fashion watch means.

Before you buy
Burberry no longer makes watches.
Burberry's watches were made under licence by Fossil Group, and the licence ended around 2017 to 2018. Since then Burberry hasn't had a regular watch range, so everything here is remaining new stock held by shops. Once a model sells out, it's gone, and prices and availability can change suddenly. We list only new watches from UK shops, but as stock runs down, expect fewer sizes and colours to be available.
What that means for after-sales.
The original maker's warranty may be limited or handled by the seller rather than Burberry. Keep the box, papers and receipt. Batteries and straps are easy for any jeweller, but brand-specific parts such as bracelet links, crowns and crystals may be hard to find. Buy the size you need rather than counting on adding links later.
The City.
The City is the best-known Burberry watch, with the check-pattern dial, slim steel case and simple quartz movement. It came in many sizes and colours, on leather straps or steel bracelets. If you want one Burberry watch, this is the one most people recognise. Men's City models are typically around 38 to 42 mm; women's around 26 to 34 mm. Bracelet models need sizing at a jeweller.
The Classic.
The Classic is plainer, with a round case and simple dial without the check pattern. It suits people who want a quiet, smart watch with a British brand name rather than an obvious logo. Classic models are a good choice if you'd rather have a quiet British name on the wrist than an obvious pattern.
Swiss quartz.
Burberry watches were generally Swiss made with quartz movements, which is better than many fashion brands. That means accuracy and simple running costs, but the movement is a standard quartz calibre, the same basic technology as cheaper watches. A quartz movement also means simple, low running costs: a battery change every couple of years at any jeweller.
Size.
Burberry watches range from about 26 mm for small women's models to around 40 to 42 mm for men's. Check each model's size against a watch you already wear. Strap models are easier to fit than bracelet models, which matters more here because extra links may not be available later.
Check for stock condition.
As remaining stock, some watches may have sat in shops for years. A new battery may be needed soon after purchase. Check the seller's returns policy and that the watch comes with the full box and papers. If the watch arrives stopped, it usually just needs a fresh battery, but check with the seller before getting it opened elsewhere.
What the money buys.
You're buying a now-discontinued fashion watch with a distinctive look. For similar money, Tissot, Citizen or Seiko give you more watch and a long-term warranty. Buy a Burberry because you like the design and the name. Burberry watches have a distinctive look, and if that's what you want, a remaining new example is the only way to get one other than secondhand.
Resale.
Fashion watches usually lose value once bought. Burberry's exit from watches hasn't made them collectable in any general way, though some people seek out particular designs. Keep the box and papers, which help if you do sell, but buy one to wear rather than to hold.
We haven't worn every Burberry here. We compared the remaining new stock UK shops sell by its published specs: size, movement, materials and design, and we're clear that these are discontinued and after-sales support is limited. UK prices and stock are tracked through the day, which matters more here because stock doesn't come back. Read our full methodology →

Common questions
Does Burberry still make watches?
No. Burberry's watch licence with Fossil Group ended around 2017 to 2018, and the brand hasn't had a regular watch range since. What's on sale is remaining new stock.
Are Burberry watches good quality?
They were well-made Swiss quartz fashion watches. Movements are standard quartz calibres; you're paying for the design and name more than the engineering.
Can I get a Burberry watch serviced?
Battery changes and strap replacements are simple at any jeweller. Brand-specific parts may be hard to find now, so keep the box, papers and receipt.
Is a Burberry watch a good investment?
Generally no. Fashion watches tend to lose value, and Burberry's exit from watches hasn't made them broadly collectable.
Are Burberry watches Swiss made?
Most Burberry watches were Swiss made with quartz movements. Check the dial and case back for the Swiss Made marking on each model.
What is the Burberry City watch?
Burberry's best-known watch, with a slim case and a dial featuring Burberry's check pattern. It came in many sizes, colours and strap options, with a Swiss quartz movement.
